Management service in general term is the practice of outsourcing day-to-day management responsibilities and functions as a strategic method for improving operations and cutting expenses.
Although the terminology varies, typically the person or organization that owns or has direct oversight of the organization or system being managed is referred to as the offer or, client, or customer; and the person or organization providing the managed service is the service provider or Managed Services Provider/ Management Services Provider (MSP).
Generally the client remains fully accountable for the overall management and control of the organization or system – including the functionality and performance of the managed service.
A very wide range of services can be managed in this way, including: HR-activities, production support, computer and IT systems.
As a Management Services Provider (MSP) at PSPL we most often work as an information technology (IT) services provider that manages and assumes responsibility for providing a defined set of services to its clients either proactively or as the MSP (not the client) determines that services are needed.
Management Service is a customer-focused approach to delivering information technology. It focuses on providing value to the customer and also on the customer relationship.
When it comes to management services we have worked hand in hand with the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) to provide consultancy services for the proper implementation of the Software solutions for automation in the organization.
We have even guided Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency to prepare a survey and preparation of village DPR (detail project reports) of the TSP (tribal sub plan) areas (Household survey and village survey) in 121 villages in Gajapati and Kandhamal districts of Odisha. Based on the survey report it helped Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency to distribute solar lights to the households in the year 2015.
